As it’s Christmas season it’s time to remind the amazing acappella arrangement made by Britt Quentin for Jeff Smith (current m-pact member) last year.

A brief flashback on history: “Carol of the Bells” is a inspired from an  Ukrainian folk chant: “Shchedryk”. It became a popular Christmas carol composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych and written by Peter J. Wilhousky in 1914.

Jeff Smith and Britt Quentin met when Jeff joined M-pact in 2004, from Britt was part of. Then he became beatboxer & vocalist for the award-winning vocal group. Jeff Smith used to perform with M-pact, however he still shares the stage with other groups, and keeps on recording solo music like songs covers. He recently put online new and extraordinary versions of Ed Sheeran hit “Sing”.

In that sense of providing new music in solo, Jeff Smith covered the classic carol “Carol of the bells” in a complete unclassic style! You can listen to the new version of this famous Christmas carol made of beatbox and voices, arranged by Britt Quentin, on Jeff Smith’s website.
