Last August, M-pact was part of “Amazing voice 2008”, a musical festival that takes place every year in Korea. Best acapella artists from around the world share their music live during 3 shows. Check their acapella version of a famous ABBA hit: “Voulez-vous”!

“Amazing voice” is a great music festival that allows acapella groups to share the stage together and give the audience unheard versions of existing songs. M-pact was part of the 2008 edition that took place in Seoul. These shows were the opportunity for M-pact to present some songs on their own. They sang live “If we try”, the Beatles cover “Come together” or the classic “My funny Valentine”.

But the most outstandings moments of this festival were shared with other acapella groups. The real group (swedish group), Rajaton and The idea of North (australian vocal ensemble) were also part of the appointment. They performed together the song – originally from The real group – “Words”, that you can watch here. “Words” is a remarkable and powerful symbiosis between the 4 groups!

Then, another noticeable moment shared with Finnish acapella ensemble: Rajaton, on ABBA famous hit “Voulez-vous”. Only 2 groups on stage, but still a lot of energy! This acapella version of “Voulez-vous” has been arranged for Rajaton’s disc about ABBA greatest hits “Rajaton sings ABBA” (2006).

While writing this post, I suggest you to listen to some other Rajaton’s music, which is pretty fantastic! Especially their covers of ABBA and Queen music are brilliant and deserve to be shared. They also performed their music with the most prestigious symphonic orchestra over the planet. Following is their version of “Mamma mia” with Sydney symphony orchestra.
